Yesterday, our media outreach resulted in a story written in the San Diego Union Tribune (both online and in print today) sharing our invention as a possible solution to a serious fly problem in one of our local beach communities, Mission Beach. This publicity resulted in several hundred new views and additional pledges. We think this article provided great visibility for the Garbage Can Fly Trap and we are excited that we have the potential to make a real difference in our community and address this long unresolved problem for residents, business owners and tourists.
